      Pros

      My time at Protiviti was interesting and was a good learning experience as it was my first job ever. The work environment was good with many helpful people.

      Cons

      To complete reports, we had to stay up late in the night and sometimes into the next morning. Also salary scale very poor in comparison to others.

      Pros

      Protiviti recruits team members who are bright and friendly. Everyone I interacted with was sharp and many of us became friends. Their strategy shows. Gaps are generally filled by promoting form within.

      Cons

      Depending on your team, if you do not like to travel frequently, you may want to look elsewhere. My team traveled between 50 and 75% of weeks over the course of a year, but it was rarely more than 4 days per week and rarely more than 3 weeks in a row.

      Pros

      Career progression timeline is approximately 2 years for first four levels. Protiviti is very flexible with your schedule, if you like to travel they will put you on clients that require travel. If you do not like traveling they will keep you on local clients. They try to put you in industries you request.

      Cons

      Pay is lower than Big 4 accounting firms, however you typically work 40-50 hours a week, much less than Big 4.
