      Pros

      The best thing about Protiviti hands down is the people. There are great people to work for and with. Pay is decent for the job. Work life balance is pushed.

      Cons

      Travel can be quite high (100% of the year). Bonus structure is not the best laid out plan. A lof the work is SOX related.

      Pros

      Protiviti is a good place to work - solid co-workers. Additionally, the culture is also strong based off of the Andersen Roots.

      Cons

      Currently the ownership structure (sub of Robert Half) is not desireable, as RHI often times meddles in the management of day to day operations.

      Pros

      Worklife balance is extremely valued, most projects consist of 40-45 hours a week and rarely any weekend work. Vacation time is greater than industry and Big 4. Opportunity to work within multiple industries and on multiple types of projects promotes a wide range of experience within SOX and internal audit.

      Cons

      Salary is lower than other consulting firms and Big 4. Knowing how to play the political game with upper management is the only way to prove that you deserve a promotion. Depending on the project the work can be boring and not as challenging.
