      Pros

      People and culture. Short hours and flexible vacation time. Networking and morale boosters are always around the corner. Management is approachable.

      Cons

      My time at Protiviti was short, educational, but far from remarkable. I took away some good excel tricks and industry knowledge but do not recall ever being out of my comfort zone or being challenged. It does not help that the work is not rewarding whatsoever except for maybe a few special cases. I enjoyed the laid back culture, until I started seeing the negative effects it had on people like myself who took pride in their work. I have no regrets working here but did not look back after leaving.

      Pros

      Great place for flexible work with good benefits. Provides great learning environment and opportunities to further professional education. Smart colleagues and camaraderie among peers. Cares about work quality and customers.

      Cons

      Hard to navigate corporate environment. Polite, but not very inclusive. Upward mobility doesn't seem to be associated with performance or skills.

      Pros

      Mature organization that says they put their people first. This appears to be true given all the effort and energy invested in their employees. New on-boarding process is quite long but very thorough.

      Cons

      The on-boarding process could probably use some more touch points following the first few weeks. In my office we're mostly remote workers so it's difficult to make connections beyond your assigned advisers at first.
