Pros

They've been named one of the top companies to work for, which is a testament to leadership, colleagues, and culture. Leadership preaches work-life balance and ensures their folks are engaged both professionally and socially. Lots of growth opportunity both in terms of expansion and movement up the ladder. At times feels very entrepeneurial - much different than a larger consulting organization and you really see the fruits of your labor day in and day out.

Cons

Still trying to build structure around some processes, but they understand that and acknowledge the need to put more structure in place where applicable.

Pros

They get it. Less travel than at the Big Four, ascension is reasonably fast, policies are fair and sound. They treat their people really well, and they take care of their clients.

Cons

When I joined as a Sr. Consultant, I couldn't negotiate vacation time and gave up over a week of time from my prior annual allowance.

Pros

Protiviti has created an amazing culture and has maintained it despite how fast they are growing. They really spoil their employees with opportunities, perks and involvement. The people that work at Protiviti are down to earth and intelligent. I never felt mislead about the opportunities that were promised me.

Cons

Because they are fast growing the work gets stressful and time consuming. There is a lot of traveling involved but for some that is not a con but rather a pro.
