Pros
You get to leave an hour early on Fridays.
Cons
The previous two reviews were done by upper management and are entirely incorrect. The company is drowning in the CEOs poor decision making and lack of communication and interpersonal skills. The CEO bullies his current employees and talks badly about them to the new employees creating unnecessary friction. I firmly believe if the current CEO was replaced with someone that was held accountable and trusted their team, this could be a great place to work. However, his condescension and lack of understanding have driven some very hard-working people away. Not only is it an emotionally toxic environment, but every single employee is also severely underpaid for the amount of untrained work that is being expected. The CEO will lie to his employees stating that their department has done a task historically with no training, resources or guidance, when in reality there was an entire department to do what he is asking you to do. From experience, the CEO will laugh at you if you ask for training or resources. The rest of management is doing their best to keep up with his unrealistic demands and emergent timelines, but they are deeply undervalued as well. No matter how many of his fires we all put out, there is always something. Oh, also. The company received a 3% increase in pay at the start of the year but was met with a 2.5% increase in health insurance costs. ProviDRs Care is the insurance... Nothing makes sense here.
