Pros

Fabulous coworkers. Great team to work with.

Cons

Has lost their vision. Used to be true to their mission statement. Now very cutthroat Claim to be not for profit but that’s an absolute farce. Employees are afraid for their jobs. Leads to poor morale. Try to weed out many experienced (read expensive) employees. Some middle management rule by intimidation and bullying.

Pros

Medical & Dental Benefits great Vision Benefits good Hours are flexible to my lifestyle

Cons

Over the course of 5 years, I have seen many layoffs annually. Healthcare is evolving, and Providence cares little about the individual.
