Pros

Average pay, great benefits, and wonderful diversity experience for self starters.

Cons

There's not a single work day when you will not hear coworkers/management gossip about coworkers who make a mistake, gossip about other's personal life, people calling in sick, people coming in late, people quitting, people who's more successful and etc. Management doesn't treat coworkers fairly. High turnover rate.

Pros

- Most caregivers are good in their delivery of high quality patient care. - Mission and Values are a strongly integrated part of every day work. - Peer leaders and co-workers are generally supportive.

Cons

- Pay and benefits are at or near market, but not competitive. - High turnover rates in both entry level and management. I know of a lot of leaders on the lookout for other jobs. - Mantra "do more with less" means salaried employees work 60+ hours a week and little work-life balance here. - It's a non-profit in terms of IRS status, but really just a big corporation with big silos. - IT and some other departments have been through so many re-orgs and RIFs that they're rendered nearly useless.
