Pros

Many departments provide a flexible schedule and telecommuting. Good people. A free Tri Met transit pass is provided every year. Good core values.

Cons

Ever reducing benefits. Limited ability to grow unless you are willing to sacrifice work/life balance, then it's a gamble. The growth of the organization appears to be affecting the adherence to the core values.

Pros

The employees are very pleassant and kind. Being a catholic organization, everyone uses a reflection prior to a meeting which is really a great way to calm oneself down and be able to focus squarely on the task at hand.

Cons

Being in healthcare, the biggest con are the changing legislative mandates which continually put pressure on the orgnaizations workforce to stay up to date on new/old/upddated mandates. This creates stress which in turn can lead to burnout but the organization does a good job of placing avenues for relief for the employees.

Pros

Has strong employee base who believes and bases everyday business decisions on the company mission. Employees and the work environment make it a great place to work. Management is open to fresh and innovative ideas for strategic changes, creating an open minded environment filled opportunities.

Cons

Business process and strategies in a number of areas are outdated. Due to the massive growth in the health care sector that is highly dictated by the government to make health care affordable, standardization of medical records and creating healthier populations is creating stressed and overworked employees.
