Pros

They offer competitive pay and good benefits. They also offer tuition reimbursement.

Cons

As an organization they do not really care about their employees. It all comes down to metrics and money just like any other organization.

Pros

Kinda flexible, but no one to cover your absence.

Cons

Once Providence took over Swedish they really pushed the corporate side of health making profit over patient their priority. You get PTO to use for sick days, vacation and holidays.. No Christmas bonus’, no incentives, and lots of burn out!! They like to get the most out their employees with little pay. I have watched Providence take over slowly, but really ramped it up the last couple years.. They’ve collapse the financial department, the hiring/recruiting department is now over seas, and they don’t offer any training for new positions or programs. The higher ups bully management piling their workload on others. Toxic work environment — If you have been intimidated or harassed by other employees management will gaslight you; especially if they are friends with them. This place is a mess if you got into the medical field to actually help people; I would advise you to not consider working here.
