Pros

None, and I'd rate 0 stars if I could

Cons

Never worked, but I feel obligated to share how impersonal and disrespectful the interview process went for me. I've been asked to interview for two positions there, and both were atrocious. For the first interview, I was emailed a link to schedule my interview, and after doing so, I was sent a confirmation email, but it did not contain an email address to a human should issues arise. I needed to reschedule my interview, and thus was not able to. For my second interview, an email address for an HR rep was included. I hopped onto my online interview at the scheduled time, but the hiring manager did not arrive by ten minutes past that time. I clicked the link in the confirmation email to reschedule, and after rescheduling online, I emailed the HR rep to let her know that nobody arrived and I'd rescheduled. I received no response to that email. Two days before my new interview, the interview was cancelled with no explanation as to why. Saying that this was irritating is an understatement, I will never consider Providence, and I have shared this horrendous experience with so many friends and family.

Pros

I worked with some great people

Cons

Well...where to start....greedy corporation misrepresenting the Sisters mission. Upper management does not give one crap about employees and is deceiving to patients but not as bad as employees. This greedy corporation is only interested in lining their "non-profit pockets".

Pros

None-Take my advice and run.

Cons

Absolutely the worst new hire training, there is no structure. You would think a company this large would have a very specific training platform. Out of all the recruiters (company wide) there is maybe one or two I could speak highly of, but everyone else including Management level is two faced liars. Current team members do not welcome new recruiters with open arms, instead they stick to their clicks, whispering amongst each other and refusing to help the new recruiters. Worse than high school!!! Managers are aware and don’t care. No one lives by Providence’s core values. I feel for people on the outside who try to apply——I saw so many applicants that had been blackballed by Recruiters and managers. They would see someone’s application come through and automatically reject them for no adequate reason, other than I don’t like them. People are being refused job opportunities because recruiters are playing junior high games. Who knows though maybe it will get better since Providence has outsourced all recruiting efforts to IBM in Manila Philippines!! It will most likely be an improvement for the recruiting process.
