Pros

Good pay, good benefits, free parking, bonuses for low staffed shifts and you pick up extra. Half of the nurses are great and helpful.

Cons

Outdated tech for nurses (computers, phones, telemetry monitors). A lot of doctors are rude when calling overnight. Management doesn’t take action against toxic work culture. More than half the nights are heavy assignments. Patients do not go to the right floor a lot of the times when getting admitted. No DOU so a lot of patients will go back and forth between ICU and telemetry. Rapid response activated constantly due to MD not addressing issues brought up by the nurses.
