Pros

Advancement encouraged, education prized. You can move around in the different States or areas. The organization does try to treat every hospital or area of health care as it's own entity.

Cons

Large wheels of company can be daunting. Some of the higher functions of a large company are here. They have regionalized a lot of areas, such as, HR. The time it takes to get small things done can be frustrating.

Pros

Providence cares about the employees, offers tremendous opportunities to contribute and grow, and they have great benefits

Cons

Just like any large organization, I am sure there are challenges; however, I have not seen any to date. There is a tremendous amount of growth and change, which may not be for everyone. But if you are into contributing to the success of a game changing company.....

Pros

Lives the Mission in every way! Awesome leadership. Cares about its caregivers (all employees)!

Cons

Sometimes slow to decisions. So big and complex, best practices difficult to share across entire organization.
