Pros

Values and commitment to the poor and vulnerable

Cons

Too much change too fast. What executives want and what they are willing to invest in are at odds. That is fine if they are willing to accept the consequences of not getting but they are not.

Pros

The commitment to live by the values is real. That doesn't mean everybody is perfect, but the culture promotes a genuine attempt to exemplify the mission, vision and values. People are generally friendly and helpful. I feel valued here.

Cons

I've not experienced any major cons.

Pros

Values based organization. The managers, supervisors and front line staff are committed to making a difference. It would be a great organization again when the leadership at the top changes.

Cons

Lacking of strong leadership at the highest levels. There are upper executives who are more concerned about personal gain than what is best for the hospital, staff and patients.
