Pros

Providence Health & Services provides its employees with good benefits such as: .very good pay, a 403b plan with some employer contributions, a retirement plan, continuing Ed classes, CPR & fire classes, 5 year interval service awards.

Cons

When a minor problem came up, the company PR was more important than my years of service.

Pros

Large Health system allows for job growth. Education programs. Most Managers are trained to be supportive. Good pay, and Benefits. Very competitive pay. Bereavement time off, maternity leave, etc. Great Charity work!

Cons

Some Managers lacking leadership abilities. As with any large organization, sometimes things take time to implement, sometimes too long. Mostly though Providence works well.
