This Company Will Ghost You In Interviews

Pros

Assuming you can actually get an interview and land a job, the team is great.

Cons

They will ghost you in interviews! They will cancel on you too, not long before you are scheduled. They will ghost you, and when you hit up the person who is the contact point for the interview, you will then get a cancellation notice. That's how this company rolls. And that's assuming the person who is the contact point follows up with you, either.

Pros

Pay was decent and coworkers were wonderful

Cons

Very toxic workplace with management. Micromanaging and accusatory, known for picking on an employee until they leave and then finding another. I was warned of this after starting there and witnessed it happening many times over.

Pros

Driven by a mission, Providence does its best to help every patient regardless of their circumstances. Most of the clinicians care about others and treat patients well.

Cons

Management has shifted its focus from the "non profit service attitude" when run by the Sisters of Providence, a Catholic order of women. Now run by MBA's and Corporate Executives who are compensated very well while admin continues to squeeze employees to do more with less. Thankfully, nurses have our union and increasingly other disiplines are organizing and joining the ONA (Oregon Nurses Association). We recently had a 5 day strike and administrators are still slow to return to the table with meaningful compromises. Have been working w/o a contract since the beginning of 2023.
