Pros

I personally like the company. The location is good, one of the smaller, older hospitals. Management in my department is good. Do your job good and you won't have any problems. Work schedule works out if you want to go back to school or have another job. Pay is good, I'm at the higher end of the bracket based on experience but I'm not complaining. I did work hard to get paid what I earn.

Cons

You have to put in work. Its not easy nursing work, but it's not hard either. I mean it's not rocket since. If you know how to be a nurse, it's easy work just alot of it. As an lvn, I don't get to use my past experiences which sucks because if you don't use it you loose it, that's why I'm going back to school. Not every nurse you work with is good. Some do the bare minimum, but most full time staff are great.
