Biggest mistake of my life.

Pros

Absolutely not one nice word to say here. I had a set schedule. That's about it. Beyond that, I have nothing.

Cons

They don't care about their employees or extreme, unavoidable circumstances that happen. They spew how work life balance is important, but only if it's benefiting them. They say one thing, but mean another. They let me go without so much as a warning or an explanation as to why. They treated me like I stole from the company, when in fact, I worked very hard for them. Very disheartening considering I tried for years to get on with this company because I had heard it was a great place to work. Now, I will warn others to stay away so they don't have to go through what I went through. I would suggest looking elsewhere to those looking for somewhere to work.

Pros

Every department is different of course, but they try to hire good people and promote from within. Many work here decades and a lot has changed. Health care isn't a big money maker for the regular employee but it's sustainable and the non-monetary rewards are significant in that it's a quality place to work and values actually are valued.

Cons

Benefits are not as great as 5-10 years ago. Staffing in for clinical providers (MAs, RNs included) is often very tight and they burn out from overwork.
