Pros

Lots of information and helpful management. Free CE classes provided by corporate.

Cons

No base pay! For a new associate with no book of business it is verrrry hard to make a livable wage. Not to mention, they recommend that you work with seasoned producers but are expected to share 50% of commission with them! Sounds fair enough however my experience is that they rarely brought me in to work any of their big cases. I would have been happy with 20% to process the contracts etc. Honestly Prudential needs to create more of a safety net for new advisors and associates. The Pandemic wiped us out!

Pros

Good brand name among consumers.

Cons

Some practices are questionable, and if you call the management for clarification, it takes ages for them to respond. Even for minor issues, there is terribly slow response. Definitely not a company I recommend for new people I feel. Has the potential to destroy career. Management rarely shows up on appointments, and later blames you for not taking them with you on appointments.
