You must have an entreprenurial spirit and look at yourself as a business owner and not an employee.

Pros

Great people to work with as long as they were with the developers or the DBA's the support people were not very kind. Rotation program will allow you to find out where you really want to work.

Cons

Not much room for growth. Some of the senior management are not really concerned with your career or you personal growth.
