Pros

Sales skills, industry knowledge, organization / time management

Cons

Spin it how they want this is an insurance job with some annuities sprinkled in. Management will lie to you, you will never get good leads, and you will eventually leave and be replaced. The old reps that are there don't want to be bothered, have some comm trails but are generally poor advisors to learn from. Join an RIA not a dual-registered firm that trumpets insurance (dont listen when they say ohh but you can sell whatever you want). Ask them to pair you with a senior advisor that can teach you about planning and that regularly sells anything but prudential products....lol

Pros

Great people Great Products to represent

Cons

LPL/Pru technology merger isn’t what the recruitment team promised, it’s not very good. Could benefit from better direct support.
