      Pros

      Beautiful facility, fair compensation. Amazing veterans and their families. Some caring and supportive employees. Very clean and attractive facility.

      Cons

      Understaffed, no support, lack of needed supplies due to cost containment, poor nursing care, no advocacy for patients, priority is the census (# of beds that are filled), administrator and some nurses are not approachable, no follow-up when poor care or injuries are reported, unrealistic expectations

      Pros

      My fellow employees at facilities were supportive. Management at last facility was horrendous. Impression from corporate was that they were more about "a body in the bed" than they were about the quality of care and how employees are treated.

      Cons

      Low morale among staff, lack of trust with management, poor example set by management. Degradation of staff by management.
