Pros

There are a few good, caring folks who are willing to work as a team . Customer satisfaction should always be first

Cons

This is too little of a space to tell the Pruitt Tale ! Top heavy in management ! "Cookie cutter" mentality. No one cares about the little guy who makes Christian City a 5 star rated facility . They try to smooth things over with free ice cream instead of providing better pay and benefits for their employees. pruitt is too busy buying up homes in the southeast to give a damn. Daily tenets are almost a method of brainwashing. It is assumed we are all uneducated and can be easily bought. Raises are almost non-existent 2% of nothing is NOTHING . A whopping .17 per year if you are a CNA.

Pros

None unless of course you are an Admin. Then you can overwork your DHS and AA by rolling all your responsibilities to them while you take all the credit. You can also get a good education on how to mistreat/threaten your RN's and CNA's

Cons

Absolute horrible company to work for. They preach "family" but do nothing to back it up. Employees are over worked, taken for granted, grossly under paid for the Atlanta metro area. They do not follow their own company rules and regs and I myself have witnessed and reported Medicare fraud only for it to be covered up. Constant patient/family complaints and if you call the compliance line, that only goes to the AVP which then covers things up so they dont get a bad review. They also know nothing about Hospice. They are more a skilled facility/home health company and their facilities are gross and smell. More concerned about their profit verses patient/quality care.

Pros

Due to extremely high turnover and incompetent management, it is very easy to get your first job here. Once hired, learn as much as you can, and take that knowledge and experience to a company that respects their employees and that is fair.

Cons

Too many to mention. First the pay sucks. Second, management's total disrespect for their employees. Third--- Good Ole Boy Environment, Fourth: It is sad to say, but it is the employees that work the hardest and longest, that get the most disrespect. The owner or one of his manager buddies will do what he has to do, even ruin your career, if he has to , to give your job to one of his incompetent friends. Fifth, you may have to get the Labor Board involved to get your last check. Sixth, I have seen several excellent employees, with stellar experience and resumes walk off this job, even though they had not yet secured another job to go to ---- That for me says a lot.
