Best boss ever...best co-workers ever!

Cons

Horrible planning and disorganization on a corporate level. Some of this is pandemic related, supply chain etc. A large part of it is simply disorganization within the organization. More of a clerical role than a sales position. Every day is all about giving the customer bad news. Not a very good feeling.

Located in Lexington, SC. Pay is good for those without a college degree. Good 401k plan with company match.

Cons

The company no longer cares for the employee's making the product. 28 years ago Pirelli cared and showed the appreciation for your services. Today they change policies that can affect you financially without your knowledge. Today they can force you to change your pay scale from weekly to bimonthly without going from blue collar to white collar non exempt so you get paid your OT but sometimes as much as 3.5 weeks after you worked the OT and should have been paid when the associate next to you was paid. After 28 years of living, breathing, being committed to the business my going away gift from the company was shorting me roughly $2300 of earned vacation time and my pay on my last check. Plenty of companies left out there that care for the employee's making the product.

Lots of projects and Complex products give platform to work on different aspects of extrusion process and optical cable manufacturing.

Cons

I faced appraisal issues in this company. Along with that, there are days when you feel communication issues within team or from managers about priorities of projects.
