Unethical Management & Low Pay for Market

Pros

Great group of people to work with.

Cons

*Unethical management and accounting processes. *Company allows harassment and protects management at all cost. *High turnover. *Usually one to 2 people per area overworked, while others lay back and show no pride in what they do. Most are careless and cause others additional and unnecessary work. *No training - management picks and chooses who to train. *Demoralizing management - would much rather talk down to people instead of lifting them up and motivating them. *No department meetings. Everyone marches to their own tune.

Thank you for your review of Prysmian Group and your time with our company. I agree with you that our team is a talented, great group of people to work both with and alongside. One of our core values is “Integrity,” which is central to our team’s ability to deliver to customers at every level. Based on your review, it seems as if you had a different experience during your time at Prysmian, as we’ve heard positive feedback from many other employees. While this is unfortunate, I do know the team in Lexington, from leadership to interns, all strive to demonstrate integrity throughout their work, which is a huge part of our success. We are continually developing the scope of our training programs to ensure everyone has the proper resources, knowledge, and tools to meet both customer and personnel goals. Thank you for your comments, and I will make sure that all your feedback is communicated to the leadership team.

Just a stepping stone

Pros

Good benefits. Company is desperate for new people.

Cons

Schedule can be changed on you with less than 24hrs notice. The management team is more concerned with covering for each other than actual strives for excellence. Your ideas do not matter here. Most ground floor employees brought in are not properly screened. A pulse is about all that is required. Outdated equipment that causes downtime. Company is CHEAP and follows the "Band-aid to cure Cancer" approach to Maintenance issues. Older employees nearing retirement fear the current outlook and are afraid of lost benefits. Politics run the roost. It is more like high school with cliche mentality. Get anything promised in writing or it will not happen.
