Public Storage is an amazing company to work for with a solid team to back it. Coming from a retail background, it is so refreshing to work for a company that has a forward thinking perspective on growth and development and makes this happen in a positive culture. From the ground up, Public Storage invests in their employees' continued success and development and it shows! There is a reason Public Storage is number one in the industry and a big part of that is because they empower their team to be business owners. One of my favorite things about the District Manager role is the amount of autonomy I have to run my market and make decisions that I can see directly impact the business. Additionally, you will get to work with an awesome support system through your peers and managers who take a vested interest in your success as well. Outside of job functions, the compensation is very competitive with a comprehensive performance based bonus structure where bonus related goals are clearly outlined and attainable. Additionally, the potential for annual stock awards make Public Storage a very favorable place to financially grow. Public Storage is truly a place where you can create your own success. Highly recommended to anyone who is motivated to make a positive impact with a world class team. Oh, and I have to say the nights and weekends off are definitely a win too!
