Super easy job

Pros

Very easy job, no prior skills or education required. All goals/benchmark numbers are easily obtained if you do things the way they script. i am in top 15 in my region, and it is not difficult at all. follow the scripts, follow the policy, follow the rules, and you will exceed. I get max bonus every year. very easy job. not for lazy.

Cons

Your district is your "team". too many people here that just 'punch a clock'. Pay is too low to reel in quality field employees. PMs, need more power in dealing with big picture stuff happening on properties. DMs become too overwhelmed and things like customer service and property maintaining gets neglected. If your hired anything lower than DM, you have no chance to move up in the company. thats a poor policy

Pros

Good Benefits, Fair Market Compensation, Above Average paid time off allowance, Great longstanding management teams

Cons

Review Compensation for our field employees, current turnover is a bit high as these employees appear to be moving to new employment with increased benefits and compensation.

Pros

Most days you get to work alone Most days you get to work at your own pace You have a daily set of duties that don't normally change Your job consists of a lot of paperwork if you become a property manager, maybe you can get an apartment paid for (on site) by the company if one exists.

Cons

Customers are nasty people Employer does not care about your day to day circumstances If you don't sell boxes you can get written up if you don't sell insurance with the unit you can get written up if you don't sell locks with the unit you can get written up if you don't get google reviews by the customer you can get written up if you get neutral or worse for a review rating, you can get written up you get a half hour break for lunch, which must be taken at a certain time you are constantly getting chewed out by your boss for not being good enough, no matter how great you are at your job you can get in trouble for other people not doing their job property issues do not get fixed, employer just forces you to work around those issues. Company does not promote from within minus the title of "property manager" which does not come with a raise in pay, only more responsibility.
