Pros

DM was personal with employees and worked with you to the best of his abilities. Some of the workers I encountered were genuinely good people. The job helped me get comfortable with handling customer issues or irate customers. A few skills that I developed while I was here; property management, cash handling, scheduling and selling merchandise. Dealing with the various amounts of characters that come through helped develop personal growth, whether it's increasing your situational awareness or networking.

Cons

People can be cliquey, and some just don't want to work. Sometimes hard to get a response on customer service issues from DM sometimes (being as the DM is being ran very thing between multiple locations and dealing with the Customer Service issues). Customers LOVE to play stupid and will play word games with you to try and catch you up, DO NOT AVOID THE SCRIPT AND YOU WILL BE FINE. Avoid working at any property with an apartment.

Pros

None! I honestly can’t think of except the pay check doesn’t bounce

Cons

You will clean human feces and work for management that has never done or understands the reality of this job. There are no raises and you will be expected to take care of a property with literally hundreds of customers all by yourself. People quite all the time, you will be threatened by customers, you will be concerned for your safety and the safety of your property, company makes billions of dollars yet can’t invest in its employees, you will work with people who sit on there phone or find another way to do nothing and management will do nothing to correct the behavior, you will be forced into job positions you don’t want and had refused

Pros

Consistent pay, consistent hours, consistent feedback

Cons

Everything else. Company plays favorites and will let a favorite lie through their teeth about a non favorite. Also, people are treated very differently.
