      Pros

      I was worried about transferring of skills into the civilian world but I couldn't be happier. Public Storage is centered around its people and customers. This company has shown me that a leader is a leader, and that anyone can do well with the right motivation. They've provided me with the tools and mentorship to confidently and effectively lead my team. This company is fast paced and has a lot of room for career growth. One of the best parts- the leaders in this company are genuinely interested in your growth. For such a large company, we are such a family of purple and orange.

      Cons

      This company is filled with motivated individuals who want, no need, to succeed. Those that want to work will succeed and grow. Unfortunately this means that there is little to no room for slacking. If you want a desk job that's 9-5 PS may not be the place for you.

      Pros

      I just started work and so far I am having a great time. The interview process was long, but I appreciated the time they took to get to know me and make sure I was the right fit for the job. They asked me to do a job shadow and that experience is what made me select Public Storage. That experience showed me the day in the life of a DM and gave me an honest outlook of the job and the company. The training has been thorough and everyone has been so sincere and kind to make sure I will be successful.

      None to date. So far my new career is awesome.

      Pros

      Great team of people. Property employees are passionate about their locations and providing excellent customer service. Other DMs are super helpful. Senior leadership is very transparent and supportive.

      Cons

      The workload is not for everyone. You need to bring your "A" game.
