      "This business pukes cash"

      Pros

      This company is stable and is doing well financially. To quote the CEO with one of his famous inappropriate quotes: "This business pukes cash". Unfortunately, you won't see any of it.

      Cons

      Any positive review written on this company is either enforced by the management or written by them. Public Storage is not a people business, the leadership doesn't care about the people and will do anything to cut back on pay, PTO, benefits, etc. Pay is very low and possibilities to grow only to the level of property manager. You will have to work based on scripts and will be micromanaged. Very little respect for the people that actually do the work.

      All 5 star reviews are totally bogus!!!! Great customers but the DMs and above are slave drivers

      Pros

      None.... Even though you pretty much work unsupervised the threat of upper management popping up and drilling you on every script possible exists. They want robots not people. They also force you to sell extremely overpriced moving supplies and a 20 dollar lock (17.99) . They keep track of the number of locks and insurance you sale and if you're logged members and insurance numbers are bad you're in trouble.

      Cons

      Extremely overpriced merchandise and management refuses to factor in the fact that customer don't want to pay for overpriced goods.
