Good co workers

Pros

I worked with lovely co workers

Cons

Job in general, they expect one person to do everything on a property and help the customers, which for smaller locations that was fine but larger locations it was near impossible. Especially when you had to do more than one property a day. To hey kept add responsibility and things we had to do and some of it like the rent by phone was not necessary. They have a call center that is not only no helpful but down right bad at there job as well which constantly made customers upset at the pm. I think the main thing is I could do the work but it wasn't worth only making $13 a hour.

Pros

Best and only pro is if you can become a resident property manager. Live rent free in a 2bed apartment. Currently trying to automate the whole system to they might get rid of resident managers all together very soon.

Cons

If you are a resident manager you then forfeit raises and get state mandated minimum wage. They are slow to update. Still using tech and programs from 2005. If your area is under staffed then the only way to get time off is to be in the hospital. Even then you have a small window to return or you will be fired. Zero room to grow within the company. If you are hired to work at the office level then you will never move up. Noticed in my entire region all District Managers, Regional Managers were referred from friends who already had the position. They hire people they know like family and friends in those positions. High expectations and demands and your only recognition is a pat on the back and “now try to beat this month next month” They are not picky in who they hire. You will work with people who have serious substance abuse issues.
