Public Storage pays very Low wages with no opportunity for advancement within the company . Property managers are basically janitors who deal with front line issues with very little guidance from supervisors. There is favoritism in the company , on all levels . District managers are paid very well for very little work. District managers work is typically delegated to Property managers . For such a huge company , the properties are poor up kept. Corporate is very cheap and expect property managers to do majority of maintenance work. They offer apts that is a tool of entrapment . They pay 8.50 to live in their low maintenance apartments. Unless you’re desperate, I would not suggest working for this company.
