Pros
Its publix, there are many perks when you're an employee. Certain discount programs that will provide a % off this or that (hotels, electronics, car rentals, etc), schooling reimbursement (if it benefits them), used corporate vehicle sales within company, etc. Generally friendly place to work for, it is publix after all. But..
Cons
...can be hell on earth. "Living the dream". Expects too much, and they put an unhealthy amount of pressure on a person. Realistically, they will push you to your limit before you know it, and to move up or be qualified to move from PT to FT, you as a person and the work you do is point based so get to know your worth before you start. So if you give it your all the first 3 months then by the time the next evaluation comes around you will have to be better & score better than previously if you want to move up from this to that, in any dept., to get a raise or just move from part to full time. And that repeats for each evaluation. So know your worth on the first day & don't rush into giving it your all immediately or you won't ever get out of the one position and rate of pay for a long time.
