Pros
The benefits are definitely a plus, one thing I've learned with working at Publix is that it truly is a family that you will never forget. Most managers have an open doll policy and will talk to you about anything. A big pro for me was that working for Publix opened other doors for me because of its great reputation as a company.
Cons
Publix is really hard to get into unless you know someone on the inside.Don't get too comfortable with any manager you have at your store, because they often move. Last but not least work in a department that you can at least tolerate and/or try them all out, unlike other companies as long as your the right age you can move around.
