Publix reviews

Publix seems to promote men more quickly. Minorities also move up fast. The older you are the less they are inclinded to want to invest training in you. Its not impossible to get through all that but you have to work hard and be persistant. The fluctuating hours can be hard on your sleep schedule.

Then I transferred to a different location. The department manager doesn't seem to understand what he's doing and nowhere near as efficient as my previous manager. He is very good at bashing his team. The store manager is rarely seen in more than two locations around the store. Worst thing for me is I've learned nothing new in over a year....feel as though I'm just hanging around putting in the hours.
