Pros

Free meals, fits to your class schedule, make a lot of good friends.

Cons

The dish room is terrible. There are also a lot of lazy people that will slow you down.

Pros

Generally good benefits, some great Mostly relaxed atmosphere Diverse technology Rewarding to be part of education system Umm...can park near my job site

Cons

Perpetual reorganizations (good management transforms and leads, bad management reorganizes) Benefits costs rise faster than salary while providing less each year Staff treated like second-class citizens compared to faculty. President has limited understanding of what it takes to support a university and a student. Merit pay freezes for years due to Mitch Daniels as governor, now for two more years with Mitch as president of Purdue.
