Pros

I got a good pay which basically covered everything, and the living expenses in West Lafayette is lower compared to living in a big city.

Cons

People may feel bored living here since there is no much fun stuff to do, but you can spend more time in hanging out with friends. Having a car is necessary.

Pros

(when working in the research institute) staff are nice, friendly and willing to help. Got raises as a PT worker and was assigned great projects to work on.

Cons

(when working in dining courts and union restaurants) my job is not too complicated but the senior managements do not have fair attention to all workers. Start at minimum wage and never got any attention.
