Pros
Great working environment and the salary is about what a graduate student should earn. The hardships obtaining a graduate degree vary by department and by the adviser chosen. In my case, it has been very difficult the last few years, but it will be worth it when finished
Cons
Salary could also be higher, but not by much. Trying to find parking on campus is very bad when classes are in session. The other major con is that graduate students are treated like students when we should be treated like employees since we work and teach classes.
