      Don’t work at Pure Flavor (nepotism)

      Great place for steady work

      Cons

      Terrible management, and nepotism is high at this place. If your friends with Isaak or Mennonite you have a good chance, but if your not it’s a whole different story. No work life balance Needs to handle the crop before expanding.

      Sometimes we got free veggies... that's the only "pro" I can think of.

      Cons

      ZERO work/life balance. They expect you to be "on" 24/7. The owners either didn't properly vet the head of the department I worked in or didn't care about his past... either way, it's not right at all. The guy is a major narcissist who love bombs you one day and then gaslights you the next. It's a wonder I only had ONE nervous breakdown and not multiple. HR is a JOKE. They don't have your back at all... An entire department complains about the head of it, and it's not taken seriously. They expect you to work A LOT of overtime, but you don't get compensated for it AT ALL - no extra pay, no time in lieu - which is illegal.
