Pros

Very structured organization. Firm focuses heavily on its people in terms of coaching and support. Technology is at the cutting edge, including the audit software. Clients are high profile, and interaction with high profile members of management. Job security and promotions are guaranteed if competent.

Cons

On audit teams, the focus from the partners is always on client service before anything else. We often told to scale down the extent of our detailed testing or perform these pointless analytics whenever the client is unhappy that the detailed testing creates too much work for them. Work/life balance is a complete joke, high staff turnover impacts those who stay, compensation at associate level compared against hours worked is insuffient, compensation at manager level against the responsibilties and risk we take on is too low.
