      Not worth the time and effort of a long-term commitment

      Pros

      Good place to work for a few years to get some real experience.

      Cons

      - They do not care about people, as much as they say they do - Partners are good at selling (and that too not all of them) not managing a business with a defined strategy and implementatiion plan - The fighting and stabbing of backs within the Partner ranks translates into a difficult mine field for staff, managers, and directors

      Good place to start a career

      Pros

      -You receive a lot of great experiences very early in your career - Company has a strong name within the industry, therefore marketability outside of PwC is good from a career progression standpoint. - During non-busy times, flexibility to meet personal commitments is good. Lots of vacation time.

      Cons

      - You are expected to work long hours in public accounting and PwC is no exception. - Promitions are based on time spent with the company, not on quality of performance. - Feedback is given frequently, however it is not as candid or direct as it should be.
