Pros

-Looks good on resume -Vacation, maternity/paternity leave, and unlimited sick time are phenomenal -Good opportunity to burn out, if you're into that -Free pop and leftover food

Cons

-If you aren't willing to sell your soul to the firm and drink all the kool-aid they put in front of you, they will coach you out and/or drive you nuts -They blatantly ram their liberal/progressive ideologies down your throat and seem to be more concerned with indoctrinating you than fostering a healthy work environment -WORST TECHNOLOGY EVER!!!! Prepare to spend a good portion of your time on the phone with tech support and/or pulling your hair out

Pros

There are none. The firm pays alot of lip service to feedback in the moment and being all inclusive. Folks in my group were laid off without warning. We had all received satisfactory snapshots prior to no notice layoffs. Evil.

Cons

Hired into the firm as an experienced hire. No work after 5 months. The firm wasted 2 weeks of new hire training on myself and some others. Looks to me like the hiring and bench process is seriously messed up in US Advisory. Be sure that if you are an experienced hire that you will actually bill as soon after in processing as possible.

Pros

Good amount of very smart people. Very good name brand for the resume. Overall firm as a whole is not afraid of change and can pivot quickly for its size.

Cons

Travel is required at the drop of a hat. Some managers and directors can really lack management skills. Charged out at $300 an hour and see 1/10th of that. Long term assignments can restrict learning and can pigeonhole your career to very specific and nuanced topics. Selling work and getting more chargeable time means creating issues at clients. Pay is only 5% more than audit and hours are considerably worse (no busy season, just projects).
