Pros

Floods individuals to the realities of drug and alcohol addiction and treatment services. Exposes employees to 1-on-1 experiences. You will work in the trenches of the field monitoring the behavior of patients. Your role will include monitor, educator, mediator, problem solver, and many more. This position will challenge you.

Cons

The position is mentally and emotionally taxing. Employees rarely get breaks. The department lacks in communication affecting it's consistency. Tech's do not receive enough professional training beforehand to equip them for their role. The work/life balance is overbearing. The benefits, although great, are not affordable at the pay rate.

The starting bebefits and 401k plan are a plus, The staff are all friendly and get along very well and management is not over your shoulder all the time.

Cons

The hours of operation (5:30am-1:30pm) are hard. The pay is not worth the work that you are required to do. IT support is almost nonexistent
