Pros

Pretty great company to work at, but nothing like it used to be. They make it comfortable at the offices and are pushing for the in office culture that used to make the company so great. Good pay, good benefits, good people. Making good progress with AI adoption.

Cons

Decisions often feel made quarter by quarter and it feels like the company lacks the long term vision it used to have.

Pros

Historically Q2 has had a great culture. * opinion matters * cultural events * good pay and benefits

Cons

Current state * heavy focus on AI * offshore to India * continued investment in DEI * leadership doesn't cut you lose early before holidays e.g. 4th of July * depending on your role, weekend work for go lives with no comp time * Co workers, by way of the 2x a year peer review are encouraged to list where you need to be improve * seems impossible to break out of a negative, even if unfounded comment about you * 50 mile RTO office radius * because opinions matter the company seems to be disjointed as leaders historically forged their own path * declining stock price * want to move outside of the 50 mile radius? Get a new job. * company is using RTO to have people voluntarily attrite * heavy focus on liberal DEI

Been a sinking ship since 2021

Pros

Genuinely great people and culture. For the most part, everyone is very results oriented. Every manager I've had was amazing. Benefits are also great overall.

Cons

Hilarious seeing their canned response to feedback about the RTO change. Some of the best talent was hired in 2020 from all over the country, putting out countless fires because this company still operationally functions like a startup. Many local to Austin still chose to be remote because the company encouraged it, some being the literal backbone of this place. No kidding, I can think of about 10 people that hold so much crucial knowledge that if they were to leave, the company would fall apart. Now all of the sudden "some team connection happens best in person" meanwhile half of the company has been offshored. The hypocrisy is crazy.
