Sketchy company

Pros

New office, free snacks, weight room

Cons

Very poor management leadership and direction, very questionable financial practices, sexual harassment cover-up. Deciding to open up some since I see others have come out as well. I'm calling Q2's bluff on their threats when I left and letting the good people know about some very sketchy business practices they keep covering up. I am aware of at least 3 incidents where kickbacks to upper management occurred. Sexual harassment has occurred many times through my employment there. Promotions for strategic position are unfair; many times given to friends, relatives, or decided on personal likeness rather than what's best for the company. Their treatment of women unfair; less pay than men and always on the lookout for sexual harassment. Winning contracts or renewals are by very unethical practices (kickbacks, threats). Nepotism is high as well.

Q2 has started actively, aggressively offshoring jobs

Pros

The people in the trenches are amazing.

Cons

Over the past year or so, the pace of offshoring jobs has accelerated. Recently they have laid off people to replace them with people from Mexico and India, or even demoted people and added overseas employees to take their previous jobs. Do not take a job here.

Pros

This truly used to be an amazing company to work for. Decent pay and benefits, onsite cafeteria. Some of the best people to work with (but most leave)

Cons

Where to begin. The CEO just announced there will be no pay raises for 2020. I fail to see how this decision came to be, the reason is Q2 needs to meet it's profitability margin. How has a company that has grown so well so fast all of the sudden not meeting profitability? When Q2 just spent half a billion dollars on aquiring a company in 2019. Every day this company moves further from its vision statement towards every other tech company focused on corporate greed and profits. You are required to wear multiple hats and perform duties outside of your job description, and now they say we will not be compensated for all the extra work we are doing unrelated to our job. There has been a trend of a complete reorganization of the internal teams every year now for the last few years. We barely have time to adjust and start making progress when they recognize again.
