Everyone at QTS knows that what they do to their employees is wrong, but the culture of fear is so prevalent that you wouldn't dare speak up.
Management tries to brainwash them into thinking there is nothing else outside of the QTS walls. In fact, once you realize you cannot take it anymore and you leave, you look back to find that QTS is a dark hole filled with unhappy people and inexperienced management/executives who are bent on collecting a paycheck and fending off your questions with misdirection.
CEO and executives are self serving and condescending. Their answer to every problem (and believe me, there are so many in QTS, you have no idea) is to hire another executive (all friends or family members of other executives or the CEO) and have them point fingers at their employees. This company is so top heavy, like an inverted pyramid, pointing in the direction that the company has been heading for years....down.
The entire time I worked there they consistently let go of higher paid and higher level professionals, replacing them with inexperienced people just to save money. Once you start to see through the charade, they pull your plug and send you on your way. I watched it happen over the years many many times. They also like to keep newer people to prevent things like 401k vesting, vacation time accumulation, etc. It is very disappointing to know that it took me so long to finally leave that place. To all current employees: There is life on the other side, and life is good. Wish you were here.
I would not even consider returning, even if my salary was doubled.
