Toxic environment - communication barrier

Pros

Good healthcare benefits - remote work allowed for out of state employees.

Cons

Poor management with frequent organizational changes. Communication is a major challenge — management often struggles to understand English clearly, leading to repeated explanations of the same issues in different ways. They tend to ask the same questions to multiple stakeholders until they are satisfied with the response, which causes confusion and frustration. The work environment is toxic, with a management style focused on pressuring employees to overperform. This results in employees feeling burned out and working long hours, including weekends, just to keep management satisfied.

Underperfomers are rewarded.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Poor performers if they're popular are rewarded for doing zero work. Management constantly changes priorities - frequently months of work can just be shut down due to one guy's decision. Accounting runs everything. Strong Korean culture - showing face and making excuses is better than getting results. Frequent work on nights and weekends.
