Pros

good salary, good advantages, very few admin tasks and constraints. A swedish DNA that makes everyday's life easy. Like a cinnamon roll.

Cons

a product that is reaching its limits. Qlikview 12 performs poorly compare to Qlikview 11. Qlik Sense that was supposed to be an amazing product is a joke, under the wrapping there's nothing new. The R&D can't make evolve the concept to fit the market needs. It seems they don't understand the code a guy did 20 years ago. Sales management is acting by reaction to the Tableau threat.

Pros

A lot of smart people, some of them are even nice enough to greet you back in the hallway. Good compensation. Free breakfast. This is it.

Cons

Qlik is a victim of its growth - in the years of its rapid expansion lots of people were promoted to leading roles without having relevant qualifications. A lot more were haphazaourdously hired mostly from Sony and from IBM (former Cognos) to form two dominating cliques in the R&D. As a result of this expansion R&D is huge bureaucratic machine. No career progression, no traveling, no conferences. Still the hubris aka "mojo" is sky-high.

good technology and great customers, depending on location decent work-life balance

Cons

extremely poor inside sales team management at a global level, toxic culture with the top leadership in the region contributing to confusing messaging and lack of emphasis on a values-driven culture. A recent cost-cutting mentality has added to the negativeness.
