      No Career progression @Qlik. Pals can reach heights

      Pros

      I have been working for Qlik Tech for past 4 years. I enjoy work culture here. They offer flexible working hours. Corporate social responsibility team is doing a good job

      Cons

      If you are boss's pal you can reach heights. If not, doomed to fail. There is no metrics to measure employee contribution at all especially in IT. I have been offered a senior role for past 6 or so months by word. But holding it citing HR approval as the reason. So they are good at breaking promises. Will promise you something on interview, but will bargain to lower your pay once you get through the process. Not a good way to start. So if you are embarking on a career this is not the place to be.

      Great Company with a lot of upside. Beware the Sales Cycle Stress.

      Pros

      The company and product are awesome. Despite having gone public you can tell that a lot of the company's 'Swedish soul' is still in tact. This means that they really do earnestly try to provide an enriching environment for their staff and provide lots of opportunities for improvement.

      Cons

      The Sales Cycle runs this company. That is so unfortunate that they are tied to performances of quarters since a lot of opportunities take longer than they want. Every sales person is constantly fretting about their quotas instead of trying to earn value with partnerships and happy clients. This means as soon as you buy you're not going to have much support and that's a travesty!

      Flexibility to work based on goals and deliverables and amazing friendly environment provides and excelent life quality and balance. Work with a top product that sales itself is very satisfying.

      Cons

      Limited carreer options or plan, you may stuck in your role for a long time.
