Pros

Excellent coworkers: many intelligent, motivated and talented professionals from other companies wotk at the Hillsboro location for the better work life balance. Great Work Life Balance: Compared to other semi-conductor firms in the area the work life balance is amazing at Qorvo. Smart Hybrid Work from Home System: Allows some work from home and most meetings have an online option. Very flexible work arrangement.

Cons

Hillsboro is not the company headquarters: As a result many decisions are made by stakeholders on the opposite side of the country and not fully informed by the reality of what is happening in Hillsboro. Cheap: There is a strong focus on short term budgetary thinking, often at the expense of quality or future returns. Understaffed: Particularly in Equipment Engineering, but also in Process. Between being cheap and not realizing that Qorvo, Hillsboro competes in a job pool with big semi-conductor spenders, attrition outpaces successful hiring.

Pros

I work on the most amazing team. Our small team is split across 3 time zones, and we make remote work WORK. Daily & fun team meetings, lots of collaboration opportunities, being our truest selves. This is the best work family ever.

Cons

This company used to support work-life balance, but in the day and age of remote work, upper management is blinded by the success of the past and is unwilling to explore future possibilities. After 2.5 years of investment in remote work, this work model that provides amazing levels of work-life balance is being discarded at the whim of high-ups who don't like to feel alone when they grace the office with their presence. Days in the office are now being mandated and ATTENDANCE IS TAKEN. Toxic work environment to MANY women employees with lower pay and less respect than males in the same roles. Poor leadership. Top levels of management are a collection of good old boys surrounded by yes men. Lower pay than competitors in the industry and a slow promotion process.

Pros

Can't think of any. Overtime isn't common, I guess

Cons

Incredibly toxic workplace. Bigotry and harassment are common, retaliation for any complaints whatsoever - too. Plenty of people working here would never be employed in any decent/professional company
