Pros

The majority of employees are great...very helpful and friendly On-site Cafeteria On-site health care In house training Various opportunities

Cons

Harassment is allowed and rewarded Pay is low Human Resources is inconsistent in following company procedures, especially when a "valued" employee is the violator Long hours are expected and treated as the norm For office employees, if you are too sick to come into work, you are expected to work from home The job accepted is not the job you are expected to perform

Pros

It's a job. For someone starting out it gives them experience.

Cons

Pay is below market. Good old boy management in which the only concern is keeping what's theirs.

Pros

Not many. I worked in the pressroom at the original plant for 8 years, and it went from great to horrible in that time span.

Cons

I never met Harry, but I am positive he is spinning in his grave at what the company has become. Nobody is appreciated. The first round of layoffs saw new people, and old-timers being let go with an "exit interview". The floor managers made a point of walking them out past all machines so they could wave goodbye to their former co-workers. Quite classless. Soon came the acquisitions, and the "valuable" managers had positions created for them in order to retain their jobs. Meanwhile, the workers were left to sweat their bags off and burn up vacation pay to make ends meet. Even took away the $5 cafeteria gift on your birthday. Direct supervisors were very cold, with an, "if you dont like it, there's the door" mentality. Today it is a land of desperation and misery.
